Majestic Theatre.—Alan Ladd, William Bendix, and Gail Russell are the stars of “ Calcutta,” which will open its season to-night. It is the story of two American pilots engaged in flying between India and China, who forsake their jobs to find the murderer of their friend. Opera House.—” Midnight Manhunt,” a murder-mystery, featuring William Gargan and Ann Savage, and ” Hotel Berlin," with Faye Emerson and Helmut Dantine, will be shown to-morrow night. ” Hotel Berlin ” is the film version of Vicki Baum’s best-s'eliing novel of the same title.
