“LEARN TO SWIM”
Large Number of Pupils
The instructors, Misses E. P. Brown and J. Peacock, of the physical welfare branch of the Internal Affairs Department, are experiencing a busv time in their tuition of children in thei " learn to swim ” campaign. The weather has been excellent and, during the mornings and early afternoons, country school pupils have been taking full advantage of learning the rudiments of swimming. After school hours there have been so many town children present that the instructors can hardly do justice to the large classes. Miss Brown informed the Daily Times yesterday that they would like to give instruction to those who would act as coaches, so that the instruction to the children could be continued. They would be pleased if members of the Swimming Club, and other persons interested would communicate with them so that the necessary course of instruction could be arranged.
