DEARER MARKET AND SMALLER - OFFERINGS Rec. 8 p.m*. * COLOMBO, Nov. 26. At the Ceylon tea sales to-day the market was dearer almost all round. The offerings were smaller, totalling 2,883,0001 b, comprising 1563 lots. There was a strong demand for medium and high-grown varieties, which showed a further advance, the top price being 250 Ceylon cents for flowery broken orange pekoes and fannings. The price ranges for other grades were:—Broken orange pekoes. 160 to 170 cents a lb; broken orange pekoes and fannings, 155 to 160; orange pekoes, 170 to 192; flowery broken orange pekoes, 170 to 211; pekoes, 165 to 1 170; dusts, 130 to 140.
