FOUR CASES. AT AUCKLAND POSSIBILITY OF EPIDEMIC P.A. AUCKLAND, Nov. 26. Four cases of poliomyelitis, commonly known as infantile paralysis, had been .reported at Auckland, said the medical officer of health, Dr L. S. Davis, to-day. “ This must be regarded as a matter of concern,” he said, “ as we are, according to the cycle of this disease, possibly, and I emphasise the word 1 possibly,’ due for an epidemic.” He advised all parents to seek medical advice on all unrecognised illnesses in their children.
