Rec. 11.30 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 25. Set only 50 runs to win outright in the Sheffield Shield match against New South Wales to-day, Victoria scored them with the loss of only one wicket. Pettiford played a fine innings for New South Wales and was topscorer with 62. Scores. —New South Wales: Second innings 246 (Pettiford 62, Lukeman 51, Moroney 28; Johnston five for 37, Loxton two for 39). Victoria.—Second innings, one for 51.
