No Confusion When Light Bulbs Burst Among Orchestra

N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent Rec. 9 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 25. While the London Philharmonic Orchestra was playing Beethoven’s Second Piano Concerto at Covent Garden Opera House, two electric light bulbs fell from a large chandelier over the heads of the orchestra and burst among the violinists. The orchestra continued playing without interruption, and tin Dutch conductor, M. van Beinum, did not even look up.
