Majestic Theatre.—" Fanny by Gaslight.” the film version of a novel by Michael Sadleir, starring Phyllis Calvert. James Mason, and Stewart Granger, will be shown again to-night. Among the supports is the film of the 1947 Melbourne Cup. ' Opera House. —Elizabeth Taylor and Mickey Rooney are the stars of “ National Velvet,” the story of a girl who rides to victory in the Grand National at Aintree, England, which will continue its season to-night.
