COMMUNITY SING

The final community sing of the 1947 season will be held on December 3 in the Town Hall. Proceeds are for the Food for Britain Fund, and donations may be sent to Mr J. F. Himburg, care Charles Begg and Co. Admission is free, but seats can be reserved from to-morrow at Begg’s for Is. A model of an Indian oxen cart carved in ivory by a native craftsman and other articles have been presented, which will be offered for sale. A good programme has been arranged, and Mr H. P Desmoulins will be the leader, with Mr A. H. Pettitt at the piano. *
