BROWN. —On Tuesday, November 18, 1947, at Christchurch, Edwin Alexander Brown (Alex.), dearly beloved husband of May Brown, and loved father of Alfred and Ethel, 17 Elgin street, Sydenham; aged 48 years. Result of recent tragic ore.

COOPER.—On November 24, 1947, at Oaanaru; Thomas, beloved husband of Elizabeth Jane Cooper, 8 Orwell street, Oamaru; aged 80 years.—The Funeral will leave our Chapel To-day (Tuesday). DUNCAN.—On November 24, 1947, at Maniototo Hospital, Ranfurly, Helen, dearly beloved wife of Henry H. Duncan, of Wedderbum, and loved mother of Ken, Laurie, Allen, Keith, and Bruce: aged 38 years. LESSINGHAM.—On November 15, after a short illness, Harold Francis Resker Lessingnam, of Auckland, beloved husband of Isabelle Cecile Lessingham.
