SPECIAL PERMIT FOR SHANNON IN AMERICA
Rec. 8 p.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 23. Shannon still may be allowed to race in California this winter, says the sporting newspaper Morning Telegraph. Under American racing rules a horse ineligible for registry can be raced under a special permit when certified by recognised authorities in its native land.
