ST. KILDA ELECTION
ALTERATION IN THE POLL On a recount of the votes recorded at the election for the St. Kilda Borough Council it was discovered that Edgar Craig (Labour), who was placed ninth out of the successful 10 in the first count, had been credited with 187 votes instead of 107 at one booth, and Mr Craig has now dropped back to the head of the defeated candidates. J. F. R. Braithwaite (Labour) who headed the defeated candidates in the first count, goes into tenth place and becomes a member of the new council.
