Waitaki’s Sound Position The weather was again perfect for further games in the North Otago Cricket Association’s senior competition on Saturday. The wickets were in first-class order, and a light north-east wind made playing conditions comfortable. Waitaki batted soundly in the first innings to compile 250 runs, and at stumps Albion hart lost seven wickets for 113 runs. Waitaki is now in a strong position for the second day’s play. The Kurow team again batted well,to make 195 runs against Oamaru A’s 106 for three wickets at stumps. The Union v.
