FAIR AND WARM The following official weather forecast, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wel'ington:— Situation. An anti-cyclone covers New Zealand, and a low pressure trough is advancing across the South T:tsm.' n. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Moder-ate sea breezes near the coast and moderate northerlies developing inland. Weather fair and warm. Further Outlook.—Some rain with a southerly change to-morrow. Weather in Dunedin. —Warm sunshine, tempered by a cool north-east breeze, was experienced in the city yesterday, the total sunshine recorded being 9hr 12jnin. The maximum temperature was 61.5 degrees and the minimum 46 degrees. The lowest! temperature recorded on the grass was 43.8 degrees. The barometer remained steady during the day, the reading at midnight being 30.01 inches (1016 millibars). v ; ,
