DEATH AT AUCKLAND

MR LEONARD G. LOWRY FORMER LABOUR MEMBER PA. AUCKLAND, Nov. 21. Mr Leonard George>Lowry, a former member of Parliament, died suddenly in Auckland to-day. Mr Lowry, who was the Labour member for Otaki from 1935 to last year, was spending a holiday in Auckland, accompanied oy Mrs Lowry. They were staying with friends in Cheltenham, where Mr Lowry’s death occurred. The body of Mr Lowry is to be taken south by rail Mrs Lowry left Auckland by train to-night, and the funeral is expected to take place at Otaki on Monday.
