SERVICES RECOGNISED
Mr A. Ingram Honoured A pleasant function was held in the Farmers’ Mutual Insurance board room at which a presentation was made to Mr A. Ingram, who has recently retired from his duties as inspector of stock. In making the presentation, Mr J. E. Ewing (chairman of the North Otago Milk Producers' Association) spoke of the assistance which Mr Ingram had extended to members of the association in complying with the strict regulations under which town milk producers were obliged to work. The enforcement of these regulations, Mr Ewing said, required considerable tact and patience, and these qualities had been displayed by Mr Ingram. Other speakers endorsed the remarks of the chairman, and complimented Mr Ingram on the way in which he had carried out his duties.
