WOMEN’S BOWLING
TOURNAMENT CONCLUDED The Otago Ladles’ Bowling Association concluded its annual Singles tournament yesterday. In the .final Mrs Gregory (Dunedin) and Mrs W. Thompson (Logan Park) tied on the last head and had to play another full game, which ended in a win for Mrs Gregory by .19 to Mrs W. Thompson’s 14. The draw for the annual match between Oamaru and Otago, to be held on Wednesday on the association greens, is:— Mrs Kane (Green Island), Mrs Braithwaite (Port Chalmers), Mrs McDougall (Caversham), (Green Island); Mrs Adess (St Kilda), Mrs Longworth (St. Hilda), Miss G llies (Dunedin), Mrs Mills (Tainui); Mrs Morrison (Mornington), Mrs Ballard (Onoho), Mrs Rigby (NorthEast Valley), Mrs Jarvis (Otago); Mrs Columbus (West Harbour), Mrs McConnell (Caversham), Mrs Collins (West Harbour), Mrs Stewart (Leith); Mrs Murray (Portobello), Mrs Thompson (Logan Park), Birtles (Logan Park), Mrs Buchanan (Leith): Mrs Pettit (North-East Valley), Mrs Darling (Opoho), Mr s Ferguson (Otago) Mrs McLaughlan (St. Clair); Mrs McAllan (Anderson’s Bay). Interclub Matches The results of women’s interclub bowling matches are:—Otago defeated Kaikorai, Mornington defeated Leith, NorthEast Valley defeated Anderson’s Bay, St Clair defeated Tainui. Logan Park defeated West Harbour, St. Kilda defeated Opoho, Caversham defeated Green Island Dunedin a bye. The Hislop Cup matches resulted:—Logan Park dfefeated*' Otago Leith defeated Tainui. Opoho defeated St Kilda. Anderson’s Bay defeated Caversham, Taieri won by default from' Kaituna West Harbour a bye.
