From the Town Hall we heard the result of our mayoral election followed by Oscar Natske singing 'Drinking.' Then came a progless report of the Hospital Board poll, which showed as the leading five candidates four Citizens’-and one Labour—recording,. ’ Flight of the Bumble Bee.” Then there was a miscellany of results showing decided Citizen gains accompanied by a charming rendition of ” Lo, Hear the Gentle Lark.” Truly a new day dawns!— I am, etc..
