REPLACEMENT ;'OF STOCK P.A. AUCKLAND, Nov. 19. A suggestion that Auckland companies would appreciate the opportuity of making substantial stock available to BaUantyne’s following the Christchurch fire was endorsed unanimously at a meeting of the executive of the Auckland Provincial Petailers’ Association to-day. It was also decided to request the Manufacturers’ Association to ask its members to give Ballantyne’s first preference in the delivery of orders. Sympathy was expressed with the relatives of the deceased and the directors of Ballantyne’s.
