ROAD SERVICES ■SJV a.i wa : a =P<iP N.Z.R. ROAD SERVICES. SUMMARY OF ROAD SERVICES ARRANGEMENTS CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS, 1947-48. The ordinary time table for the various services will operate throughout the holiday period with the following exceptions:— WAIMATE-STUDHOLME. From Thursday, December 18, 1947, to Saturday, January 10, 1948, inclusive, the ORDINARY time table will be SUSPENDED and buses will run daily (except Sunday and Christmas Day—see note below) to connect at Studholme with Main Line trams as under:— Christmas Day.) t Monday to Friday. On Thursday, December 25, 1947, buses will connect at Studholme with NIGHT express trains leaving Christchurch and Dunedin as under:— Christchurch: Depart for Dunedin 11.2 p.m. (December 24). Dunedin: Depart for Christchurch 9.40 p.m. (December 24). Dunedin: Depart for Christchurch 11.20 p.m. (December 24) SUNDAY SERVICES. On Sundays, December'2l, 1947, and January 4, 1948, buses will leave Waimate for Studholme at 11.35 a.m. and Studholme for Waimate at 12.12 p.m. and 3.46 p.m., connecting with the 8.35 a.m. Christchurch-Dunedin and 11.35 a.m. Dunedin-Lyttelton Wharf express trains. „ On Sunday, January 11, 1948, a bus will leave Waimate for Studholme at 11.35 a.m. and Studholme for Waimate at 12.12 p.m.. connecting with the 8.35 a.m. Christchurch-Dunedin express trains. OAMARU-NGAPARA-TOKARAHI. Wednesday, December 24, 1947, Wednesday, December 31, 1947.—Service as for a Friday will operate. Thursday, December 25. 1947.—Service cancelled Friday, December 26, 1947; Friday. January 2, 1948.—The 6.10 p.m. TokarahiOamaru and the 10.30 p.m Oatnaru-Tokarahi services will NOT run. Friday, January 2, 1948.—'The usual 3.50 p.m. Oamaru-Tokarahi service will be delaved to leave Oamaru at 6 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 1948.—A service will leave Tokarahi for Oamaru at 8.30 a.m.. returning leaving Oamaru for Tokarahi at 6 p.m OAMARU-KUROW-LAKE WAITAKI. Thursdy, December 25, 1947.—Service cancejled. Friday. January 2, 1948.—The 3.40 p.m. Oamaru-Lake Waitaki and the 3.40 p.m. Oamaru-Kurow services will be delayed to leave Oamaru at 5 p.m. , Saturday, January 3, 1943.—The 3.40 p.m Oamaru-Lake Waitaki service will be delayed to leave Oamaru at 5 p.m. , DUNEDIN-OAMARU-TIMARU (Main Road Service).
