PALESTINE DENIES REPORTS JERUSALEM, Nov. 17. The Palestine Government has issued a communique denying that it intended to transfer any of its assets to the United Kingdom Government. The communique, which was issued following newspaper reports that Britain proposed to use Palestine Treasury surpluses to finance the evacuation of Palestine and the control Ol immigration, said it could be expected that the assets would be transferred to whatever authority assumed the liabilities of the Palestine Government. , , . , A British Army spokesman denied that the Palestine evacuation had begun. He said that, other than normal troops shifting, such as leave parties and replacements, there were no troop movements in the whole of the Middle East.
