It is believe! that Courtaulds’ representatives in Australia feel that, the New South Wa! r s Government is not giving their firm su "cierit priority in building materials. Reports from Queensland and South Australia say that those States are trying to interest Courtaulc.3 in building a factory there. The Lord Mayor of Newcastle. Mr Quinlan, however. says that directors of the firm have told him they are satisfied, that the.site has been purchased, and tnat the work will be expedited.
