BIG REDUCTION
CANADA’S WHEAT CROP OTTAWA, Nov. 16.
The Dominion Bureau of Statistics, in a final estimate of production for 1947. placed Canada’s wheat crop at 340,800,000 bushels, compared with lasiyear’s 413,700,000. Adverse weather and reduced acreage were blamed for the reduction.
