ELECTION MEETINGS

Mr M. F. E. Cooney addressed a small gathering of electors at the Opera House last night, the chair being occupied by Mr P. L. Brown. Mr Cooney stressed the need for the sound administration of the borough affairs. He dealt with the borough finances and the work carried out and amenities provided during his term of office as Mayor. At the conclusion of his address be was accorded a vote of thanks.
