Mr J. H. Rapson was in the chair at the annual meeting of the Oamaru branch of the New Zealand Workers and General Labourers’ Union. Mr R. Mclntyre, -the Otago secretary, was present. The annual report was adopted, and the following officers were elected:—Branch president, Mr A Winslade; vice-president, Mr A. Hall: secretary, Mr A. G. Amies; executive —Messrs W. Miller. V. Bannerman, E. Irvine, P. O’Brien, E. Hylands and J. H. Rapson; Trades Council delegates and L.R.C. delegates, Messrs A. G. Amies and J. H. Rapson. After award and other matters had been discussed, Mr Mclntyre addressed the meeting. s
