SAVAGE CLUB

The great chief and braves of the Oamaru Savage Club met last Thursday night to farewell Brave S. W. Armstrong on the eve of his departure for Christchurch. Great Chief Jim Meikle, making the presentation, spoke of the esteen in which Brave Armstrong was held in the club, and referred to the assistance he had given and the unselfish manner in which he had carried out his duties. ■
