The Maniototo cricket competition was continued in brilliant weather yesterday, the best individual performance of the day being that of the Becks bowler, A. Vugler, who took eight wickets for 24 runs, including a hat trick, and in his innings made 33 runs. The results were:— Fatearoa B, 163 (J. Mathias 63, Herlihy 21, M. Carr 13, A. Greer 16 retired, W. Mathias, one wicket for 58 runs; W. Duffy, six for 67; T. Mathias, one for, 16). Patearoa A, 193 (B. Greer 15, Beatty 26 D. J. Blakely 35, J. W. Blakely 53, McAtamney 51) defeated Oturehura, 57 (Lindsay 22, McSkimming 11; McAtamney, five wickets for eight runs; Andrews, four for 40). Ranfurly A, 98 (R. Blakely 27, J. P. Kearney 15, J. C. Kearney 15, A. Mitchell 17 (Lobb, one wicket for 39 runs; Blakely, three for 27; Smith, three for 26; Moore, two for 6) was defeated by Naseby, 176 for two wickets (Klitscher 58 retired, Elackburn 48, Smith 11, McKenzie 18 (Mulholland, three wickets for 3 runs; J. C. Kearney, three for 46; Inder, one for 22; A. Mitchell, one for 4). Ranfurly B, 47 (Yule 10 not out, Dave Proven" 10 (Vugler. eight wickets for 25; Harley, one for 15) were defeated by Becks, 138 (W. Clouston 32 retired, J.
