The Maniototo cricket competition was continued in brilliant weather yesterday, the best individual performance of the day being that of the Becks bowler, A. Vugler, who took eight wickets for 24 runs, including a hat trick, and in his innings made 33 runs. The results were:— Fatearoa B, 163 (J. Mathias 63, Herlihy 21, M. Carr 13, A. Greer 16 retired, W. Blakely 53, McAtamney 51) defeated Oturehura, 57 (Lindsay 22, McSkimming 11; McAtamney, five wickets for eight runs; Andrews, four for 40). Ranfurly A, 98 (R. Blakely 27, J. P. Kearney 15, J. C. Kearney 15, A.
