MILD TEMPERATURES The following official weather forecast, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued yesterday by the Meteorological , Office in Wellington:— , Situation.—An anti-cyclone covers New Zealand, and depressions are located near Lord Howe and Campbell Islands. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Sea breezes near the coast, but moderate westerlies predominating elsewhere. Weather fair, and temperatures mild or warm. Further Outlook.—Fair. Weather In Dunedin.—The weather in Dunedin oh Saturday was pleasant, and yesterday was warm and sunny. About six hours of sunshine were recorded on Saturday, when there was a breeze from the north-east.. The maximum tempei-a-ture was 58.5 degrees, the minimum 44.9, and the grass minimum 42.5. Yesterday the sun shone for 5 hours 36 minutes, and the maximum temperature was 65.5 degrees, the minimum being 44.8 and the grass minimum 40.7. A light wind blew from the north-east. The barometer remained fairly steady’, and the reading at midnight was 30.11 inches (1020 millibars!.
