Green beat W. Fogarty 6—3, 6—2; A. J. Seeley beat J. Scanlan 6—2, 5—6, 6—4; D. McQuillan beat K. Quinn 6-1,-6—5. Doubles: Robson and Green beat Curran and Fogarty 6—l, ft—3; Seeley and McQuillan lost to Scanlan and Quinn 5—6, 5—C. University won bv 5 matches to 1. Women’s A Grade University v. Cosy Dell (University names first).— Singles: Miss M. Pyle beat Miss M. Spackman 6—3, 6—l; Miss C. Neave beat Miss N. Smith 6—l, 6 —l; Miss B. Sparrow beat Miss J. Wilson 6—2, 6—2; Miss J. Smith lost to Miss H. Price 4—6, 2—6 Doubles: Misses Pyle and Sparrow beat , Misses Spackman and Price 6—4 G— 3- Misses Neave and J. Smith beat Misses Wilson and N. Smith 6—2, 3—6. 6 —2. University won by 5 sets to 1. Intermediate Grade University, 9 sets (109 games), beat Training College, 7 sets (95 games). B Grade Roslyn, 12 sets, beat St. Patrick’s, 4 sets. Anderson’s Bay, 12 sets (114 games), beat Waimana, 4 sets (71 games). Moana, 8 sets (91 games), beat Cosy Dell, 8 sets (87 games). C Grade Roslyn, 10 sets (106 games), beat Caversham, 6 sets (96 game's). Port Chalmers, 9 sets (108 games) beat Opoho, 7 sets (85 games). Kaituna, 16 sets (124 games), beat Waimana, no sets (34 games).
