COMMUNIST THREAT

GREATER THAN HITLERISM CATHOLIC ARCHBISHOP’S CONCLUSIONS BRISBANE, Nov. 14. In a bitter attack on Russia, the Catholic Archbishop of Brisbane, Dr James Duhig described Communism as a greater menace to the world than Hitlerism and Facism. Communism was a greater threat to mankind because it was more subtle and plausible, he added. Dr Duhig has arrived back in Brisbane after visit to England,- Ireland and Italy. “Communism cannot prevail, and it must collapse,” he said. “ Russia must either change her attitude to other nations or await the fate of Hitlerism and Fascism. Not only has she robbed the people of their country, but she has also infringed the legitimate trade of other nations by forbidding trade ■ with them.”
