The classification of teachers in the sco'jdary departments of district high chcols as ' post-priniary teachers is rovided for in the Education Amend-ier-:t Bill which was introduced in le House of Representatives to-day. [itherto these teachers have been • raded as primary teachers. The Bill Iso' provided for a standardised sys:m of accounting by education boards nd for the election of education oards by secret ballot. The Bill was read a second time pro isma and referred to the Education ommittee.
