SCENES OF VIOLENCE
POLITICAL STRIFE IN MILAN RIGHT WING HEADQUARTERS DESTROYED Rec. 8 p.m. MILAN, Nov. 13. Left Wing groups destroyed the headquarters of the Right Wing •• Common Man ” Movement and also Ihe,building in which the Right Wing newspaper 11 Mattion D’ltalia is published. A crowd estimated at 200.000 gathered in the central square in protest against an attempt to blow up the Communist headquarters. Speakers said that the Christian Democrat Government was responsible for the “ reactionaries’ violence.” Scenes reminiscent of the violence in Italy before the advent of Fascist rule 26 years ago occurred when Communist mobs marched through the city after a time.-bomb exploded in the Milan Communist headquarters. Over 10,000 Communists gathered in the main square demanding energetic Government intervention. Several hundred then attacked the police station, where five party members are held on riot charges. They were repulsed by a three-row cordion of heavily-armed troops supported by an armoured car.
