OAMARU NORTH SCHOOL

The final social for 1947 at the Oamaru North School Parent-Teacher Association was held on Monday night The guest speaker was Mr Riddell, of Dunedin, who gave an interesting talk on the work of parent-teacher associations, and stressed the need for co-operation and united effort. The following programme was presented by the Oamaru Savage Club, led by Mr J. Macmillan: Mr Ferguson (song), Mr Martin (violin), Mr S. W. Armstrong (songs), Mr Mitchell (humorous recitation), Mr Fraser (violin).
