OCTAGON THEATRE

Wesley Ruggle's technicolor Picture “ London Town,” a gay musical cavalcade with a full British cast, headed by Sid Field Greta Gynt, and Kay Kendall, will open a season to-morrow at the Octagon Theatre. The films tells the story of Jerry, provincial comedian, who decides to try London out. Though expecting the comedy lead, Jerry finds that he Is only to understudy Charlie, the real thing His daughter, Peggy, seeing how wrapt up he is in getting an appearance, institutes an ingenious plan which ensures him the desire of his heart. Jerry at length gets his chance, and is a breezy success. The picture is alive with songs that matter—such as "So Would I,” ” The Ampstead Way,” “Any Wind That Blows.
