ALPINE CLUB PRESIDENT HONOURED
Advice has been received ot the election to honorary membership of the Alpine Club, London, of Mr J. A. Sim, of Dunedin, president of the New Zealand Alpine Club., “in recognition of his great work as editor of the New Zealand Alpine Journal and in organising instructional ‘ meets ’ of young mountaineers.”* Mr Sim is the second New 2Tealander to be so honoured.
