NEW SOUTH WALES MATCH INNINGS AND FORTY-EIGHT RUNS Rec 10 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 11. Less than an hour sufficed for New South Wales to defeat India at the Sydney Cricket Ground to-day. In that time, however, Adhikari and Sen made their eighth-wicket partnership worth 73 runs in-65 minutes. Adhikari revealed good strokes, and his 6o included eight 4’s. Sen also batted well. India was sorely handicapped by the absence of the captain and best batsman, Amarnath, but nevertheless was outplayed in all departments of the game. New South Wales won by an innings and 48 runs.
