ENGINEERS CALLED OUT BY UNION Rec 8 p.m. LONDON. Nov. 10 The North London District of the Amalgamated Engineering Union has called out maintenance engineers at the Savoy group of hotels because of the alleged refusal of the Savoy management to recognise and accept an arbitration award. . Bakers have been instructed by their union to cease work to-morrow. The strikers’ spokesman denied that 84 members had resigned from the Municipal and Generali Workers Union as the management claimed. ’Only i 9 had resigned.
