DAVIDSON.—On November 11. 1947, at Dunedin, Catherine Gibb, dearly loved wife of Joseph Davidson, and loved mother of Sandy, Bob, Janet King, Peggy Scott and Katie McKenzie, of 189 King Edward street. South Dunedin; dearly loved by all grandchildren; aged 59 years. Deeply mourned. —The Funeral will leave our Chapel, King Edward street, South Dunedin, on Thursday, November 13, at the conclusion of a service commencing at 1.45 p.m., for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—Cole and Son. funeral directors.

HENDRA.—On November 10, 1947, at her home, 4 Lurline avenue, Auckland, Jane, beloved wife of the late Thomas Henry Hendra, formerly of Dunedin, and devoted mother of Mrs C. D. Loeber, May, Lena. Mrs W. Lockstone (Auckland). Thomas Henry, Mrs E. P. Buchan and the late Nelson (Dunedin), and Jack (Marton); aged 87 years.—lnterment at Auckland To-day (Wednesday), November 12.—Watney Sibun’s Sons, Ltd., funeral directors, Auckland.

JOPSON. —On November 11, 1947, accidentally killed at Lowburn, Edwin Francis, dearly loved husband of Kathleen Maud Jopson; in his thirty-second year Deeply mourned. —The Funeral will leave the Church of England, Cromwell, at 2.30 (service 2.15), on Thursday, 13th inst., for the Cromwell Cemetery.—J.
