NAZI AIR ATTACKS
INDICATION OF FAILURE NEW METHODS ADOPTED BERLIN, Oct. 8. (Received Oct. 9, at 0.15 a.m.) The official spokesman declared: “ This isn’t the blitzkrieg, but merely hammer blows against England. Germany has adopted a new method of air warfare, designed to achieve: “ (1) Absolute control of the Channel and the entire English coastal area. “ (3) Complete annihilation of London, including all military objectives and industrial production. “ (3) Paralysis of Britain’s industrial, technical and civil life. “ (4) Demoralisation of the civil population in London and the provinces. “ (5) Progressive weakening of the British fighter force.” Hie added that the operations thus far w r ere merely an initial phase.
