Appearing on remand in the Police Court Charles Harold Longlcy. aged 39, was charged that, on September 22, at Manunui. near Taumarunui. he murdered Jeremiah O’Sullivan. Detective Sergeant Nalder said the accused had been previously remanded to apuear at Taumarunui to-day; but his legal advisers had requested that he should be remanded at Auckland for another week, after which arrangements would be made for his remand to Taumarunui.
