DAILY INTERCESSION

The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. His work is honour and majesty, and His righteousness endureth for ever (Psalm, cxi: 2-3). Into Thy hands, our Father, we commend this day ourselves and our fellow-citizens of the Empire. May Thy presence go with us and them in all the strain and danger of this war. In the night watches be our shield and protector. May we never lose sight of Thee all the day long, but may we have such trust in, and companionship with, Thee as shall be prayer without ceasing. So in the end shall we give Thee thanks: through Jesus Christ our Lord.
