RETURN TO GERMANY FRENCH PEOPLE IN IGNORANCE LONDON, Oct. 4. (Received Oct. 5, at 7 p.m.) General De la Riminst, whom General de Gaulle appointed GovernorGeneral of French Equatorial Africa, has issued a statement that the real terms of the French-German armistice have been hidden from the French people, and they provided that Alsace-Lorraine should immediately be unconditionally returned to Germany. He added that he possessed documents revealing that the Vichy Government had authorised Germans to fly to Dakar, where they commanded the operations against General de Gaulle. The Berlin radio said it was reported from Vichy that General Weygand is going to Dakar next week to organise counter measures against the de Gaulle movement. GENERAL WEYGAND ARRIVAL AT DAKAR LONDON, Oct. 5. (Received Oct. 6, at 7.10 p.m.) A French radio message from Tunis states that General Weygand arrived at Dakar and was enthusiastically received.
