HOMING PIGEON CLUB

The Dunedin Homing Pigecn Club flew a flock race from Parnassus on Saturday. The stationmaster liberated 120 birds, representing 18 lofts. The weather was fine with no wind, and the birds put up a good flight. The winning bird flew the 265 miles in 6hr 16mm at a velocity of 1245 yards per minute. The results are as follows: — J. Ramsay’s Redwing 1, J. Taylor's Belmonte 2, J. Scoullar's Lovelace 3. C. Macfarlane’s Bonnie Crewe 4, W Hargreaves’s Erak and T. Tonks’s Outlaw (equal) 5. The club wlil fly a race from Parnassus again next Saturday.
