A training class to educate women in the handling and repairing of cars is to be started in Napier as an emergency precautions scheme, and already 15 young women have signified their intention of attending the classes, which will be held in the Hawke’s Bay Automobile Associaticn’s garage. The training will consist of ordinary repair work and the genei’al handling of a car It is hoped to have a group of women available for ambulance driving or similar work in the event of an emergency.
