One Christchurch motorist, travelling between Christchurch and Dunedin on Saturday last was very unpopular with others following behind, when a tyre punctured in the middle of the Waitaki Bridge. A long stream of motorists travelling to the Oamaru races was held up. Fortunately, the car was a light one, and it was able to be lifted out of the way. allowing the traffic to pass.
