OUTRAM TOWN BOARD

MONTHLY MEETING ' The monthly meeting of the Outram Town Board was attended by Messrs D. Ashley (chairman) Cameron, and Watson. The chairman reported that the collection of scrap metal in the town district by the Boy Scouts amounted to 4£cwt. This was forwarded to Hillside Workshops, and the proceeds were to be handed to the Patriotic Fund. In connection with the garden party to be held in aid of the Air Force Queen, it was decided to ask the business places to close for a half-day on October 16. A report was received from the ranger in regard to the difficulty of impounding wandering stock.—He was instructed ot proceed against the offenders.
