MISSING AEROPLANE

NO TRACE FOUND EXTENSIVE SEARCH TO CONTINUE (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON. Oct. 3. An extensive search which was carried out to-day by Royal New Zealand Air Force machines over an area between Pipiriki ancj north of Mokau failed to reveal traces of the Oxford aircraft and crew of three missing since Monday afternoon. The Plane was on a flight from Hobsonville to Ohakea. The search will be resumed to-morrow, when an area along lines which might have been traversed by the missing aircraft will again be covered. No definite report has yet been received which might give some indication of the whereabouts of the missing machine.
