HARBOUR COLLISION CAPTAIN’S ERROR OF JUDGMENT SYDNEY, Oct. 3. The Commonwealth Court of Marine Inquiry found that the harbour collision on September 23 between a freighter and the tug Hero, resulting in the latter being sunk and an engineer being drowned, was due to an error of judgment on the part of the tugmaster, Osborne Weldon, in keeping too. close to the freighter, but he could not be said to be guilty of negligence.
