AMERICAN TAX BILL
THE FINAL PROVISIONS WASHINGON, Oct. 1. (Received Oct. 2, at 11 p.m.) Congress approved the conference report on the final provisions of the 1,000,000,000-dollar Tax Bill, which has been sent to the President for signature. The measure is also designed to facilitate defence by permitting manufacturers to write off the cost of additional facilities within five years. No limits are placed on the profits on aeroplane or warship contracts.
