SOLDIER’S DEATH
MEMBER OF SECOND ECHELON (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 2. Official advice has been received that Private David John Evans, 23rd Canterbury Battalion, was killed in England as the result of a road accident on September 28. His mother is Mrs Mary Ann Evans, of 75 Epuni street. Wellington.
