FIRST RECIPIENTS MEN WHO REMOVED BOMB (By Wireless) LONDON, Oct. 1. (Received Oct. 2, at 1.30 a.m.) It was announced to-day that Lieutenant Davies and Sapper D. C. Wyllie, whose exploit in removing a large bomb which threatened St. Paul’s Cathedral thrilled the Empire, were among the first recipients of the George Cross.
